 The Crohn's &Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) announced today the five grand prize winners from the third annual Celebrating UC Success contest. Established in December 2007, Celebrating UC Success is a program that honors people who have found personal ways to help manage their ulcerative colitis (UC), a form of inflammatory bowel disease. The program highlights their successes to educate and inspire other patients and supporters.

Television celebrity Gregory Itzin, best known for his role as President Charles Logan on FOX's primetime drama '24,'recently donated his time to create a radio public service announcement (PSA) series on behalf of the Crohn's &Colitis Foundation to raise critical awareness for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.

The Crohn’s &Colitis Foundation Granted $5.6 million by The Leona M. &Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust 
  The Crohn’s &Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA), the world's largest nonprofit organization dedicated to finding a cure for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, announced today that it has been awarded a grant of $5,664,000 from The Leona M. &Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust. The funds will support the Foundation’s Research Awards Programs over the next three years.
